AHA Basic Life Support – Tuesday, June 28, 2022 – 6:00PM-8:00PM

    $40 per person - which includes a certificate from the American Heart Association for ECC, GCC, NCCC, UB, Daemen and D’Youville nursing students.

    The purpose of this course is to teach those with a duty to act the knowledge and skills needed to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies. It includes the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) to care for a victim experiencing cardiac arrest.

    Class includes performing a primary assessment on adults, children and infants, being able to give ventilations to adults, children and infants, giving ventilations using a BVM, CPR for adults, children, and infants, and conscious choking for adults, children and infants.

    Please follow all CDC rules of wearing a face mask and social distancing 6 feet apart. We will be taking your temperature before entering the training area and will ask if you have been outside of NY State. No cough or fever the last 14 days and no contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
